Ingredients
3 cups basil leaves
1/4 cup Parmesan
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup pine seeds
2 small cloves of garlic
Salt and pepper
Equipment
1 Blender or food processor
Preparation
1. Roast your pine seeds until gold.
2. Put the basil, pine seeds, Parmesan, and garlic in your food processor
3. Add the olive oil.
4. Season with salt and pepper according to taste.
5. Mix it until getting a fine smooth paste.
6. Taste it with a spoon and correct seasoning if needed
7. Use immediately or for storage put the pesto in a jar, put some olive oil on top and put away in the fridge.
Use the pesto for pasta, garnish, carpaccio, in salads or to put in a sauce. Super easy to make at home and it tastes amazing.
