Ingredients (2 Persons)
1.6 kg Spareribs
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp White Pepper
1 tsp Paprika powder
¼ tsp Cayenne
¼ tsp Cumin
2 tbsp Olive oil
1 tsp Oregano
1 tbsp Sea salt
2 clove Garlic
1 tsp Thyme
Equipment
Oven
Aluminium foil
1 Baking tray
Preparation
1. Mix all spices with the olive oil, rub the spareribs with this mix and what I prefer, wrap them in plastic foil and leave them in the fridge overnight.
2. Day after take the ribs out of the plastic and put them in aluminium foil, put the sides of the foil up and add a little water and olive oil, close the foil but leave some room to get a steam effect later.
3. Put the Spareribs in the oven around 150 degrees and leave them slow cooking for 2 and a half hours.
4. Take out the ribs, open the foil carefully, the steam can burn your hands, turn the oven up to 180 degrees and cook for about 15-20 minutes.
TIP: It’s a long cooking process but I guarantee you guys the meat will fall of the bone like butter.
TIP: Those who like more the sweet versions, in the last 10 minutes of the preparation top the ribs with honey or BBQ-sauce.
